Popular Legislation?

Most-Viewed Bills

I don’t know if this will be helpful in terms of creating short term deliverables or not.

Statistics are collected every week on pending legislation before the U.S. Congress and then the most viewed bill are posted.

Number 1 on this particular day was:

H.R.5771 [113th] To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to extend certain expiring provisions and make technical corrections…

Which explains my uncertainty about the utility of this site. Did this bill reach number ten because it had twenty people look at it and the others less?

The site doesn’t say. I will ping them to see if the raw numbers could be posted for the top ten.

If the numbers are high enough, short term deliverables on legislation might be a viable market. The top N resources that prove (pick your side) on Bill X sort of thing.

Would save users from spending the time to make up information or hunting down misinformation from others for posting to Facebook or Twitter. 😉
